Dr. Visit

Sebastian was 15 months old on the 15th of June. (sorry I am so far behind on posts) We met his new doctor today. Sebastian spent the appointment running around the waiting area and watching the fish in the tank. Then he ran around the exam room, jumping on the adult scale and playing with the mouse and keyboard (when the medical staff wasn't using it). Good thing daddy came to help. The new doctor is very nice and spent time meeting with us. Sebastian got rave reviews, very healthy. He was also very brave getting his shot. his stats are: 24 lbs and 31.5" tall. I forgot the percentages, but he continues to follow the 60% growth curve and the doctor is happy with that. I was surprised by the height because it was the same as his 12 month appt. and he has definitely grown out of some of his clothes since then. The nurse warned us about him climbing on the furniture. Sebastian must have been listening because he climbed onto the coffee table for the first time while I was making dinner that night. He understands so much these days. For example, don't say "eat" unless the meal is ready to be served, otherwise he will run to his high chair and demand food. Also, don't say "outside" unless you mean it, otherwise you have to explain that we can't go outside because it is raining and that you were only babbling out loud to yourself.
